"Los emplumados de Cacaopera"
Cacaopera, Morazan; in this dance people carry a wide band
crossed above the shoulders, a maraca in the right hand, above to the head,
people carry a feather creast of Guaras'. It is dancen with soft music and only
by men, using violin. The origin of this dance ia very old, dating back to pre-
hispanic Lenca Past. Actually it is danced in honor of "Virgen del
Transito"
"EL santo Tingo de Semsembra"
It is a ceremonial dance, best preserved in the country, it
is presented in Semsembra for the festivities on June 28th and 29th, they are
dedicated to San Pedro Apostol. Most of the participants are women, of
differentes ages, dressed properly. They have learned the dance watching it
from their Chilhood.
La Yeguita de Chilanga" 😆
It is a dance of taurine type where it is lassoing a mare
which is danced in a circle and one person dressed as the animal.
